E1: The Arrival of Sam

Sascha and Anna share an apartment in Berlin. Their lives are complicated with the arrival of a mystery guest, Sam from America. Nic, who lives opposite the girls, finds out about Sam's background but tries to keep it a secret

E2: Sam Goes Shopping

Sam has his first experience of shopping in Germany. First he does some grocery shopping on the internet. Then Sascha, Anna and Nic decide to give him a makeover which turns out to be a disaster, so he ventures out to clothes shop by himself.

E3: Sam Goes Dating

Our Berliner friends decide to find love through the internet, and Sam decides to help out with some jobs around the apartment.

E4: Sam Finds a Job

Sascha needs a promotion to earn more money, so she approaches her boss about it. Sam starts looking for a job, but ends up being the waiter for Sascha, during a meal with her boss, cooked by Nic. The evening is a disaster, but our young friends cement their friendships as a result of it.

E5: A Star Is Born

Sam starts to notice Anna in a romantic light and, in a bid to win her over, starts learning to cook. Anna becomes obsessed with television commercials, and Nic's acting career receives a boost when he takes on the role of a weather forecaster.

E6: Sascha Wins the Lottery

Sacha thinks she has won the lottery but where is the ticket? Nico is also desperate to find it as he's written a girl's phone number on the back. Sacha discovers she's read the numbers upside down and Nico's been given the wrong number.

E7: The Twin

We discover that Sascha has a twin, Maria, who is coming to visit from Argentina. However, Sam, Nic, and Anna do not know that she has a twin, so there is much confusion when they presume that Maria is actually Sascha.

E8: The Landlady's Cousin

The landlady's cousin, Edeltraut Berg, is taking over the business temporarily. Edeltraut dislikes the girls but takes a shine to the boys, particularly Nic, who goes on a series of dates with her but starts to regret it when she won't leave him alone. Meanwhile, the others build shelves with disastrous consequences, and romance finally flourishes between Anna and Sam.

E9: Jobs for the Boys

Sascha has arranged for Sam to get an interview at the television station where she works. The station is looking for a reporter. With Nic's help Sam gets the job, but it may have something to do with the fact the editor is our old friend the landlady's cousin.

E10: Anna Protests

Anna is protesting about cruelty to animals and wants Nic to look after some rescued guinea pigs that then escape. Sam is sent to interview Anna on her demonstration and it all ends in tears.

The foursome go to London for a long weekend. Sam can speak the language but is a bit confused by the geography. Sascha finds a good looking English boyfriend and Sam ends up dancing with the elderly waitress.

E12: Football Crazy

England is playing Germany in the World Cup Final and Sascha's new English boyfriend is coming for the match. Nic can't be there but doesn't want to know the score. When England beats Germany, Sascha realizes she has made a big mistake. Sam has a surprising question for Anna!

E13: A Wedding in the Air

Sam and Anna are getting married. Anna wants to keep it very simple but Sam's mother has very different ideas and is on her way to Berlin to supervise. Sascha finally realises that deep down, she really likes Nic after all.
