Ana Cristina Barragán is an Ecuadorian filmmaker (1987). She made her first short film when she was only 20 years old. She has directed three short films: Despierta/Awake (2008), Domingo violeta/Violet Sunday (2010), Anima/Spirit (2013). Awake was screened at several international film festivals. Domingo violeta premiered at the Locarno festival.
