Mario Sequi was an Italian film director and screenwriter, active from the late 1940s to the mid-1970s. Born in Cagliari, Sardinia, he began his career as a production manager in the 1930s before transitioning to directing after World War II. Sequi directed a variety of films, including Altura (1949), a drama set in the Sardinian mountains, and The Monastery of Santa Chiara (1949), a war melodrama.
