William Henry Marcus Miller Jr., more commonly known as Marcus Miller, is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and composer, but is best known for playing the bass guitar. Born June 14, 1959, in Brooklyn, New York, he grew up in a family of musicians, specifically his father William Miller, a church organist, and his cousin, jazz pianist Wynton Kelly.
