Alexis was born in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. She started acting at a young age in community theatre and went on to receive a BFA - Specialization in Theatre Performance from Concordia University in Montreal. An avid dog lover, Alexis also loves to travel and often chooses her country of exploration based on what she wants to eat.
