His second movie, Love Matters (2009), which he co-directed with Jack Neo, was a box office success in Malaysia and Singapore. In 2016, he co-directed 4Love, which tells the story of love; from strangers to marriage and then life together as an elderly couple. His movie 23:59 (2011), which he wrote and directed, was a critical success and popular with the Singapore audience. Its sequel, 23:59 The Haunting Hour was released in 2018.
